You probably know that EA is announcing the cover athlete of Madden today at Times Square. FaF worked our sources harder than Jay Glazer working a ham sammich, and we were told on very good authority that this player will be named the Madden 2010 Cover Athlete. Yes, we’re going to make you link to see who it is. We’re bastards like that. We’ll put pics up once the event actually goes down. That player puts in a lot of good work, and hopefully will be immune from the Madden Jinx.
This is also the 8th season that EA Sports has discriminated against the player who should obviously be named to the Madden cover every year:

I’d apologize to those of you who came here looking for the cover athlete but instead found your mom. I’d apologize but that’s why I did it. And by “it” I mean your mom.
I’ll post the real deal when it is announced. Although I think your mom does have a decent chance of being selected. She’s versatile – doggy, missionary, helicopter, donkey punch, whatever. She’s the MVP of my pants.
